This page covers deleting what the DuaGo mobile app stores, as published on Google Play and the Apple App Store by Angyal (OPC) Private Limited. The DuaGo privacy policy describes what it stores in the first place, and account and data deletion lists the route for every other app we publish.
Deleting your account in the app
To delete your DuaGo account from inside the app:
Open DuaGo and go to Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm it is you: enter your password if you sign in with email and password, choose your Google account again if you sign in with Google, or — for phone sign-in — make sure you signed in within the last few minutes.
Tap Delete account to finish.
Deleting your account without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, write to support@angyal.in with the subject “Delete my DuaGo account”. Send it from the email address on the account, or tell us the phone number you sign in with. We will confirm the account is yours — for a phone account, by asking you to reply from a channel we can verify — and then delete everything listed below. We acknowledge within 1–2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It erases from our servers:
your account — name, email address or phone number, and sign-in identifier
your profile picture
your favorites and collections
your dua reminders and prayer-time settings, including the location saved with them
Your Firebase sign-in record is deleted at the same time, and the app clears DuaGo's data from your phone — favorites, history, searches, prayer settings, reminders and saved recitations. Nothing is kept for analytics or marketing.
What is kept, and for how long
Copies in our daily database backups and server snapshots, which expire within 7 days, and standard web server logs (IP address, time and request), which are rotated out after about two weeks. Neither is used to restore or contact a deleted account. The DuaGo privacy policy describes everything the account holds.
Deleting part of your data
You do not have to close the account to delete part of it. In DuaGo you can remove your profile picture from your profile, remove favorites and collections, and replace the location in your prayer settings by picking a city from the list. Anything else, ask us at support@angyal.in.
Changes
If a future version of DuaGo changes what the account holds or how it is deleted, this page is updated before that build is submitted, and the privacy policy and store disclosures are updated to match.
