This policy applies to the Merge mobile game published on Google Play and the Apple App Store by Angyal (OPC) Private Limited. It does not cover any other product or website operated by Angyal (OPC) Private Limited; for those, see the Angyal Group privacy policy. Our child safety policy covers Merge as well.
Summary
Merge collects nothing. It has no accounts, no server, no advertising and no internet access at all — the Android build requests zero permissions. Your progress is a single file on your own device, and nothing in the game ever sends it anywhere.
What Merge stores on your device
Merge saves one file on your device containing only your own game progress:
- your best score, kept separately for the three-column and four-column boards
- coins, power-up charges, and whether the four-column board is unlocked
- campaign levels cleared and the stars earned on each
- mission progress, your daily login streak, and today's daily-challenge result
- a run in progress, so closing the app mid-game does not lose it
- a short local history of your recent runs, used only to draw your own statistics on the profile screen
- your settings: sound, music, haptics, volume levels, reduced motion, the colour-safe palette and text size
Angyal (OPC) Private Limited never receives this file. It is not uploaded and there is no account to attach it to. Uninstalling the app deletes it. You can also erase it at any time from Profile → Reset progress; account and data deletion sets out every route in one place.
What Merge does not do
- It requests no Android permissions at all, and makes no network requests of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier is read (no Android Advertising ID, no Apple IDFA). The App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown, because there is nothing to track.
- No analytics SDK and no third-party crash-reporting SDK. Nothing is bundled beyond the Godot engine runtime.
- No accounts, no sign-in, and no email address collected by us.
- No in-app purchases and no paid unlocks. Coins are earned by playing, cannot be bought, and have no cash value.
- No online leaderboards, no user profiles, and no user-to-user communication. The daily challenge gives everyone the same board, but scores are never uploaded or compared.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera.
Crash information
Merge writes a small marker file while a game session is running and removes it on a clean exit, so that a session ended by a crash or a force-quit can be counted on the next launch. That count is a number in your local save file. It is never transmitted, and it contains nothing about you or your device.
Apple and Google may separately offer you the option to share operating-system crash reports with developers through their own systems. That is governed by their privacy policies and your device settings, not by this app.
Children
Merge is rated for all ages and is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme. Because it collects no data whatsoever and transmits nothing, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children, and there is no advertising or third-party content in it. If you have any concern about children and this app, write to grievance@angyal.in — the designated contact named in our child safety policy.
Angyal Group's child safety policy sets out the standards we apply to every app we publish, including this one, and how to report a concern about a child's safety.
Your rights
Because Merge holds no personal data of yours on our systems, and sends none to anyone else, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Resetting progress in-app, or uninstalling, removes everything the app stored. If you have written to us, that correspondence is the one thing we do hold, and you can have it deleted — see account and data deletion.
Changes
If a future version of Merge adds a feature that needs data — online leaderboards, for example — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the app's store data disclosures will be updated to match.
