Answers to the questions we hear most about the DuaGo app on Google Play and the App Store. If yours is not here, write to us — or read more about DuaGo.
Contact us
Write to support@angyal.in with “DuaGo” in the subject. Tell us your phone model, its Android or iOS version, and what happened — a screenshot helps. We reply within 1–2 business days.
Found a mistake in a dua, its translation, transliteration or reference? Tell us which dua and what is wrong. Every correction is checked before it goes into the app.
Signing in
- You can sign in with email and password, with Google, or with your phone number. Use the same method each time so you reach the same account.
- Forgot your password? On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and we will email you a link to reset it. You can also ask for a sign-in link by email instead.
- No email arriving? Check your spam or junk folder, and that the address is spelt correctly. Wait a minute before asking for another one.
- Phone sign-in: enter your number with its country code. If the 6-digit code does not arrive, tap Resend code.
- To change your password once signed in, go to Settings → Change password.
Prayer times
- Set your location in Settings → Prayer Times → Change. Choose a city from the list, or tap Use my current location.
- If times differ from your local mosque, open Calculation method and pick the one your community follows, and set Asr time to Standard (Shafi, Maliki, Hanbali) or Hanafi.
- Times are calculated on your phone for the place you set and shown in your phone's time zone. Your local mosque may differ by a few minutes.
Alerts and reminders not arriving
- Make sure notifications are allowed for DuaGo in your phone's settings.
- On Android, also allow Alarms & reminders for DuaGo so alerts arrive at the exact minute, and turn off battery optimisation for the app if your phone has it.
- In Settings → Prayer Times, tap Send a test alert to check that alerts reach you.
- Adhkar and custom reminders are in Settings → Reminders; check that each one is switched on and set for the right days.
Recitations and offline use
Recitations you play are saved on your phone so they work without a connection. To save them all ahead of time, go to Settings → Offline Downloads → Download all recordings. Playback speed and continuous play are in Settings → Audio Settings.
Language and appearance
Change the app's language — English, Malayalam or Arabic — in Settings → Language. Light and dark themes, transliteration and the Arabic text size are in Settings → Appearance.
Your account and data
Your favorites, collections, reminders and prayer settings are saved to your account, so signing in on a new phone brings them with you. To delete your account and everything stored with it, go to Settings → Delete account, or see deleting your DuaGo account for the other ways. The DuaGo privacy policy explains what is stored and why.
